About the Program
The goal of the Mentor-Mentee program is to create an intimate relationship between an older member and a new member who might be interested in learning more about the club; through this program there is an opportunity for members new and old to grow together as leaders. Although the Mentor-Mentee Program is a relationship between two individuals, it acts as a bridge to create a better connection between the different generations of Circle K members.
Become A Mentor
If you have been a member of CKI for at least one year and have enjoyed your membership thus far please consider becoming a mentor for a new member! It can sometimes be hard or intimidating to come into a new club and make friends, and we as a club want to make sure that all of our members enjoy their experience in CKI. You can help a new member by becoming their mentor and helping them get involved, meet new people, and have a new friend in the organization!

How it works
To be a part of the program we just ask for you to fill out an application. The application allows the Social Media and Recruitment Committee and CKI officers to find the best mentor or mentee to fit what you are looking for with the program. If you were a member prior to the Fall Semester of 2017, then you can apply as a mentor. Members new to Circle K this year can apply as mentees. Please start off by completing this application and submit it online. You must answer all of the questions, but feel free to write as much or as little as you would like! FAQs
What do mentees/mentors do together?
Anything! The idea of the programs is to provide an opportunity for members in the club to get to know each other better and to provide new members with someone experienced in the club who can help mentees with questions or getting involved. Most of our mentors and mentees treat the program as a way to build a better friendship with another member. Mentors and mentees can keep their relationship strictly something for CKI if that is what they are both looking for or treat it as a way to gain an all-around friend. The relationship is what you want to make it!
How do I apply?
Simply fill out the online application and contact our Vice President of Membership to let us know that you are interested.
Who can be a mentor?
Any member who has paid dues and been in Circle K International for at least one full year can apply to be a mentor.
Who can be a mentee?
Any member can apply to be a mentee if they have been a CKI member for three or less years! Anyone interested in joining the program will be placed with a mentor based on their application and who the committee feels would be a good fit for him or her. (There is also an opportunity for mentees to name suggestions of older members they would like to be placed as their mentor.)
